Building Better Batteries
You won’t be grabbing coffee and sorting files. At EnPower, each internship project tackles development goals that are critical to EnPower’s progress. Interns run key experiments and analyze market data that inform our business strategy. All of the projects are designed to be comfortably completed in the term of the internship and each intern presents their work in a company strategy session at the end of the term. To date, technical internships have been individual projects, where one intern works independently to complete a project start-to-finish. Business projects tend to be sufficiently large and complex that multiple MBA and/or undergraduate students work collaboratively during the internship term.
Throughout the internship term, we create opportunities for personal and professional development. Bi-weekly Lunch and Learns give interns exposure to a range of topics, from battery basics to how to use the Enneagram to improve your communication style. Past events have included visiting prestigious venture capital firms and getting 1:1 time with leading Silicon Valley professionals.
We’ll make sure you have some fun while you’re in Phoenix, too! As an intern, you will get to experience startup culture firsthand. We are a small team that works together and plays together. Past activities have included rowing, hiking, and plenty of team dinners. The Phoenix metro area offers something for everyone, from nature lovers to sports fans to foodies! We embrace opportunities to gather and get to know each other outside of work.
